These dark chocolate protein balls are by far the best protein balls I’ve ever tried! They’re really easy to make and are the perfect snack when you’re craving something sweet that is satisfying and nutritious. They’re delicious frozen too!
Ingredients:
- 13 Medjool dates, pitted
- 100g raw cashews
- 80g chocolate protein powder
- 50g powdered peanut butter (I used PB2)
- 80g dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup rice malt syrup
- 1/4 cup soy milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Hemp seeds, for coating the protein balls (optional)
How To:
- Add all ingredients (minus the hemp seeds) to a food processor and process on medium speed until all ingredients are combined and the mixture is thickened. You may need to pause the processor, scrape the sides and blend a few times to get the desired consistency.
- With slightly wet hands, roll the mixture into tablespoon sized balls, then roll the balls in the hemp seeds to coat.
- Store in the fridge or freezer and enjoy!
