This gluten free granola recipe only takes 15 minutes to whip up and makes for the perfect breakfast or snack! Made using only whole food ingredients, this granola satisfies your sweet tooth while providing you with adequate nutrients to leave you feeling fuelled throughout the day.
Makes 1 large batch
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon linseeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- 2 cups puffed brown rice
- ½ cup honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
How To
- Preheat oven to 180oC. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the linseeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, puffed brown rice, honey, salt and cinnamon until well combined and all the ingredients are evenly coated in honey.
- Spoon onto the baking tray and spread evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture is golden brown.
- Allow to cool and harden on the bench for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!
Serving Suggestion:
- Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit
- Baked into muffins or cookies
- Smoothie topper
- Serve with milk of your choice and fresh fruit
